Online accounting is a way to organise collaboration. It does not remove the need for checking and professional judgement.

The company's role

The company supplies complete and legible documents, explains the transaction and reports changes promptly. Payments, hiring, new contracts and foreign transactions may affect accounting treatment.

The accountant's role

The accountant processes information within the agreed scope, asks clarifying questions and prepares the required outputs. Which declarations they file and under what authorisation must be expressly agreed.

Create a predictable rhythm

  • Agree when and how documents are handed over.
  • Use a shared place for questions about a specific document.
  • Distinguish uploaded, checked and closed.
  • Keep confirmations for documents actually filed.
  • Review periodically who has access to the company.

One system, different responsibilities

In ACP, the Company and Accounting panels present different work tasks. The aim is to make information available to the right person without sending it repeatedly. A document's presence in the platform does not prove its acceptance by an authority.
